This is our new pride and joy!! We were able to get an air conditioner put into what is currently Rebekah's room, but soon to be our bedroom. For those of you who have not been in this room... it turns into a sauna during the summer, and does not cool off at night. With kid #2 on the way, we decided it was better to give up our larger bedroom for the kids. Plus, the smaller room has the bathroom and shower in it, so it's works out better for us anyway.
So, today began the demo of the wall, and installation of the air conditioner. It took just about all day. We were surprised to find that there was no mold in the wall (because, although this room is a sauna in the summer, it becomes a swamp in the winter as the rain water pools and seeps into the room from under the wall in the parking lot).
Ike, who installed the A/C also cut out the warped and mis-shaped parts of the wall surrounding the A/C (due to the swampy-ness), and put up new drywall. Thanks Ike! It is already late tonight, and Ike and JR just left about 30 minutes ago. They have patched the wall, and I will post more pics when it is finished.
For now, we are super excited about having the A/C in that room to make it more tolerable. Now the fun begins. This weekend we are making the big move and switching bedrooms. Rebekah and I won't be of much help, but we have some family and friends coming over to help! We'll keep you posted on how it all goes.

Yeesh, sounds crazy!! Glad it's all working out though.
awesome! We never got an AC in there because we didn't know where to put it! It does make tons more sense to have the "master" with the bathroom...
