Rebekah has been "cruising" (walking while holdin on to objects) for almost 3 months now, but she just recently started taking some steps on her own. She will let go of the coffee table, take a couple steps, and either fall or squat down. She is learning how to stand up on her own (in the middle of the floor) but hasn't been able to take any steps once she stands.
At church 2 weeks ago she took the most steps to date. She let go of my leg, took 2 steps and stopped, took 2 more and stopped, then took 2 more and fell in to the arms of Devon Pinson. I was so excited, but had to contain myself so I didn't disrupt the lesson. 
I think she will start walking anyday now completely on her own. She gets so excited when she walks so I know she wants to do it!! Now all I have to figure out is how to keep her shoes on...

I hate to be the one to tell you, but last time we babysat whe walked from me to mom, at least six or seven steps. SHe did not even fall down on the way.
