Today's Dr. Visit

For all of you who are thinking I have had the baby, think again. I went to my Dr.'s appointment today, and she said everything is looking great! The baby has a strong heartbeat, I have dilated to 3 cm, 50%, still a -2 station. She was surprised at how low the baby is and remarked that he has dropped a lot. So, that's the update.
***Warning: The next portion of this post originates from all of the people who call and "check up" on me.
Before all you family members start getting ansy and worrying about when the baby is coming, just remember, he will come when he decides to come... and PLEASE... don't call to check up on me. You will all be made aware once the baby is born, DO NOT WORRY! Most of you will probably even know when I go into labor. If I don't answer the phone, or call you back right away, it is most likely because I couldn't get up off the couch fast enough to get to the phone. Also, just a word of advice... I am incredible tired and moody, so I would suggest (for your sanity as well as mine) that you refrain from bombarding the hospital to come visit. You can call us and see if we are up to having visitors, but really... I think I will want to get some sleep. If you decide to come anyways, try not to stay too long....

Okay... my rant is over! I hope I don't offend anyone, but I wanted to warn you all about my feelings beforehand so that I don't have to kick you out of my recovery room.

that rant was the best. I wish we could all say that to our well-wishers.

Katy, I am really feeling the love here. So are you ok? Are you? Huh? Well? Are you? Have you had the kid yet? Katy are you there? Katy? Katy? Katy??

One bonus to living far from family- most are too far to bombard the hospital.

SO...if you don't have the baby until after Christmas do we still need to get the baby presents?

When he is done cooking the timer will go off.

Ok, I will stop calling. I only call because I care. If you are asking me to stop caring... then you must know that I will not stop caring. I care and you have to deal with that and my phone calls.
